FMHS GBB to Host Four Games at Home This Week

After a season opening tournament in Vernal, UT, the FMHS Girls Basketball team (3-0), will host four games at home this week.  The week will begin with a home game on Tuesday vs. Uintah High School and continue with the Major Mortgage Wildcat Classic.  Eight teams from Colorado and Utah will play Thursday thru Saturday

Timberline Bank Announced as Hall of Fame Sponsor

Fruita Monument HS is proud to announce that Timberline Bank will be the Title Sponsor for the 2016 Timberline Bank Hall of Fame Harvest Fest.  The event is being held by the FMHS Athletic Department to raise funds for the creation of the Wildcat Hall of Fame.  The event will be held October 21, 2016

GARY THOMAS WAS LAID TO REST TODAY.  LONG TIME FMHS TEACHER, COACH, FAN, PASSED AWAY ON MAY 13, 2016 IN PEACEFULLY IN HIS HOME.  TODAYS SERVICE HAD HIS LONG TIME FRIENDS MIKE MCDERMOTT, DAVE FOX, AND BOB CORNELLIE SPEAKING ON BEHALF OF THE FAMILY.  MANY FRIEND AND FAMILY SPOKE ABOUT THE IMPACT THAT COACH THOMAS

FMHS Girls Basketball 2016 SWL Champions

A loss in the 1st Game of the SWL season didn’t stop the FMHS Girls Basketball Team from capturing the SWL crown, because they simply didn’t lose again in league play.  The cats finished the league 7-1 and won the tie breaker with Montrose.  The girls now wait to see who their first round State

FMHS GBB/ALPINE BANK RAISE CANCER AWARENESS

Alpine Bank and FMHS GBB are working together in the month of February to raise breast cancer awareness.  FMHS Girls Basketball Coach Michael Wells said “Alpine Bank has made it possible for us to help our girls understand the importance of giving back to our community by raising awareness of the dangers of breast cancer.”
